A MESSAGE FROM OUR PRESIDENT

During these two years as National President of the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernian, My mission is to work together through the talents of all our members who are nurtured by their faith and Irish roots, reaching out in service to ALL. In that Mission statement, we will be focused on Pride, Protect and Preserve.

When you think of Ireland, you focus on fields of every possible shade of green, magnificent cliffs, giant granite mountains that punctuate with solitary colorful wildflowers, monasteries, castles and a place where the mix of old and young thrive together. But Ireland is far more than a beautiful landscape. Crumbling ruins of ancient monuments and haunting views of abandoned fields bear silent testament to a people's resilience and strength in the face of centuries of invasion and hardship. Our ancestors, even when beaten down, never lost PRIDE. We are proud of our family roots, no matter how humble the origin. The Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians takes PRIDE in this great Order promoting our Faith, Heritage and Motto of: Friendship, Unity and Christian Charity. In Friendship, we have mutual esteem, welcome each other's company, assist one another and exhibit loyalty. The members of the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians have a Unity of Faith. We acknowledge that God, the Supreme Truth, is the primary author of our Faith. We do unto others as we would do unto ourselves exemplifying Christian Charity.

In this Wonderful Order, we PROTECT each other as our grandparents emulated magnificently in coming to a strange land, embracing the American dream. We are committed to PRESERVE our Heritage and what those so many years ago opened up for us. Their devotion, hopes, wisdom, and dreams which were invaluable need continued. My journey began with my parents, immigrants from County Galway and County Kerry.

The Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians fosters loyalty and perpetuates the history and traditions of the Irish People and their culture. In this age of scientific knowledge, we have the capability to electronically communicate, utilizing cell phones, faxes, and computers for interaction; but our MOTTO, GOALS and BELIEF in Almighty God has never changed. The Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians pledges itself to God, Faith and Country.

We are seeking women to Join our Noble Order, the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians.
